Kelly Cares Weekend Update:

This past weekend was filled with meaningful experiences for our Kelly Cares youth and staff.

We celebrated the baptism of one of our children, a joyful and uplifting milestone.

We received a heartfelt call from a young person currently in the hospital. Though she tried to disguise it as accidental, her reaching out reminded us of the importance of connection and belonging.

Our Saturday Learning Session began as a scavenger hunt and naturally evolved into a hands-on lesson on decimals—teaching how to distinguish dollars from cents in everyday life. It's obserd how 7th graders don't know what decimals are.

Two of our youth also joined us for a Baptist worship experience, which they enjoyed so much that they are already eager to attend again.

At Kelly Cares, we are grateful for every opportunity to nurture faith, learning, and relationships. These moments remind us why we do what we do.

Toying with a person's especially kids emotions can sometimes have a long term effect. Please be mindful of things we say, do, and don't do or say with our babies. Transparency, clarity,and stability will help, despite the kick backs and challenges we face.

Kelly Cares has been asked multiple times about when will there be another event. Well, here it is. We decided to bring NOLA to BPT. This event will hopefully bring more good energy to Bridgeport/ Fairfield County. Get your mask(optional) fancy dresses and suits ready to have a good time New Oreleans style.
