The Members and Officers congratulate Firefighter Brayden Acropolis who graduated from his Firefighter 1/2 2026 Summer class at Toms River Fire Training Center. Brayden joined us in January and has been an integral part of our team! He’s learning quick and will make an excellent firefighter. Brayden recently graduated from BTHS and also serves the township as a Life Guard for Brick Ocean Rescue!

Congrats to all of the recruits from his class! Thank you to all of the instructors from the academy! We are thankful for all you do getting our recruits ready!

Pioneer Supporters, next week the OCFD Hockey Club is hosting a charity game to help the Donnelly family battle cancer. Carol whose husband Kevin is a member of station 22! Please come out and support a family who’s also all dedicated their lives as first responders! Information for tickets are below, grab your tickets now. Brick Township Fire Department is an entirely volunteer department that responds to over 2000 incidents a year. We can never have enough members and are always trying to reach out to the community to expand our roster with more dedicated people! There is no experience needed to join, all training and attire is provided FREE! Our only requirements to apply are 18+ and a resident of Brick Township. Please share and spread the word to everyone! We always need members especially as call volume consistently rises year over year. Please direct message us or comment so we can give you all information needed!

Last night your Station 22 volunteers trained on vehicle extrication techniques and procedures. Crews worked on honing in basic skills as well as advanced methods in passenger vehicle extrication. Late night but job well done by all!

This is a very common occurrence for all first responders throughout Brick Township as well. Those critical seconds or even minutes that delay a Police Officer, Ambulance or Fire Truck can cause a detrimental outcome. Please be mindful of your vehicles when parking in the street and always check your local ordinances for street parking.
