APERI Training Classes

The Alabama Pipeline Emergency Response Initiative (APERI) is a joint effort between the Alabama Fire College and pipeline operators such as South Alabama Gas.

This course provides essential training on identifying potential issues involving natural gas pipelines and responding safely and effectively during pipeline emergencies.

The class is open to all first responders, including firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, emergency management personnel, city employees, forestry personnel, and others.

All attendees will receive an Alabama Fire College “Non-Cert” certificate for HAZMAT continuing education training.

Please refer to the flyer for class dates, times, and locations within our service area. We encourage everyone to attend and help improve pipeline safety in our communities.

Provalus recently hosted a Taco Tuesday Cook-Off, and we had the honor of stopping by to serve as judges! We’d like to thank Provalus for having us out it was a great time, and we truly appreciate the opportunity.
