Nice piece on the group from Texas that our Luv Waggin' transported:)

Our Luvvy has to have regular maintenance and repair, good tires and fuel in the tank to make the treks that carry dogs and cats (and human volunteers) to safety. Cats and dogs that were in Texas shelters when Harvey hit were left, once again, without a home. That's why volunteers have brought the animals up to New Jersey, where they'll be put up for adoption. Jummy Olabanji reports.

Hurricane Harvey has wreaked havoc in Texas and our expertise is in assisting the animal victims and those humans on the front lines caring for them, now, and in the weeks to come.

RIP beautiful boy. We are very proud to have been a part of your story....

For those who may not be familiar with Charlie's amazing story, we rescued him, starving and sick with a huge tumor from the steps of a church. Many donors came together to help us pay for the surgery and following intensive vet care that was needed to save his life. Foster extraordinaire, Melissa McMillan, took care of Charlie for several weeks at her home until his family was able to take him home.

Charlie's rescue story was picked up by the associated press and touched a great many hearts all over the country. Our goal, along with helping Charlie, was to educate as many as possible about the value of microchipping and the critical part of keeping the information current.
