The Village of Brewster had an entertaining day yesterday with the unexpected high winds. The Village Departments had their hands full keeping up with the downed trees and power lines. We extend our gratitude to the Village Employees that stepped up and made sure the village continued to function and restored power to those who lost it for a few hours. A thanks to the Brewster Fire Dept for responding and professionally handling a trampoline that caught fire after a small, failed flight attempt that came in contact with the Power Wires.
