On June 4th at 3:37 PM, a mutual aid response was automatically initiated for a first alarm structure fire with reported entrapment, prompting Brewster Fire to respond in conjunction with Erie Valley Fire Department, providing support with a 4-person ladder company, a 3,000-gallon tanker, and a Chief grade officer on scene; our thoughts are with the victim's family.

Thanks for all the support for our annual festival to make it a success. This year we had 145 cars in the car show which is a record for us. Finally had no rain for all 4 days. Hope to see everyone again next year

It was a perfect night for a parade, and Sheriff Weisburn brought a big group of employees and volunteers to the 2026 Brewster Fireman’s Parade and Festival. We love being part of such a great community tradition. Thank you, Brewster Fire Dept, for the invitation and hospitality!

It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of former member Jerry Lane. Jerry was not only a former member of Brewster Fire Department, but also a retired Captain from the City of Massillon Fire Department. Jerry continued to dedicate his life of public service with the Village of Brewster serving on the CRA Council until his passing. Please keep Jerry’s direct family as well as his extended fire department family in your thoughts and prayers.
