The Joshua Chamberlain Society’s (JCS) Nashville Chapter provides life-long support to our Heroes who have given so much for our freedom—severely wounded veterans and the families of fallen service members. Louis with the mission of providing life-long support to veterans that sustained permanent combat injuries fighting the long war on terror for our nation. The Nashville Chapter, has formally adopted several heroes across Middle Tennessee. What an incredible Saturday at our 10th Annual Shoot for the Troops! We had an amazing turn out and were able to raise a record amount that will go directly to supporting our Heroes.

Congratulations to the top teams and shooters: Hardaway Construction on the Red Course, Jones Brothers on the White Course, and Pancoast Benefits on the Blue Course.

Congratulations to Scarlett Arrendale, the top female shooter from the Morgan Stanley Team and Chris Malone, the top Purple Heart Veteran shooter from the Don Ross Team. Congrats to Austin Ainsworth from the Jones Brothers team, Rick Archer from the RBC team, and Scott Gentry from the Hardaway Construction team for being our top course shooters. Hats off to Scott Gentry for winning the shoot-off and being the 2026 Top Shooter Champion.

Our 10th Annual Shoot for the Troops is THIS Saturday! We have 36 teams signed up and could squeeze a few more in, so sign up if you’ve been waiting til the last minute! But we wanted to let you know of two other ways you can still be involved if you can’t come join us this weekend!

🇺🇸First, we have multiple sponsorship levels still available for Saturday’s event but also a donation of any amount is significant when we’re talking about our local combat-wounded veterans and Gold Star families.

🇺🇸Second, our silent auction is online this year which means you don’t have to be hanging out with us to bid on items! The auction is open and bidding will close Saturday evening at 5:45pm so keep a close eye to make sure your bid is winning!

It’s time to call your buddies and register a team for our 10th annual Steve Tidwell Shoot for the Troops! Join us August 29th from 2-6pm at Nashville Gun Club for some friendly competition, prizes, cold drinks, good food, auction items and more! This Memorial Day and every day, JCS Nashville remembers SFC Ofren Arrechaga and SPC Anthony Vargas, loving husbands and fathers to our Gold Star wives Seana and Luisa and their children. We also remember JCS Nashville hero CPL Jeremy Voels, who passed away in 2021 from injuries sustained during the war, and 1LT Frank Walkup, brother of JCS Nashville hero Franz Walkup.

We honor the countless husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, parents, and friends who have given their lives in service to our country over the last 250 years, and we remain eternally grateful for the freedoms secured through their ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is not free, and at JCS Nashville, we strive to remember and honor the fallen while supporting those who continue to bear the cost of war.
