How do you receive emergency information during wildfires, earthquakes, refinery incidents, or other emergencies?

With summer heat, dry winds, wildfire risk, earthquakes, and other local emergencies always a possibility, staying informed matters.

Contra Costa County is conducting a public survey to learn how residents get alerts and prepare for emergencies. Your input will strengthen future preparedness and emergency communication strategies across our communities!

Take the survey today:

In my district, our strength comes from the diversity of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds from the people who call this community home: our seniors, veterans, small business owners, faith communities, and residents from every walk of life.

As we recognize Pride Month, I want to take a moment to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ neighbors, friends, family members, and colleagues who help make Contra Costa County a vibrant and welcoming place to live.

As Board Chair, I remain committed to fostering a place where every resident feels safe, valued, and respected, and where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. This month, and throughout the year, let us continue working together to build a Contra Costa County where all residents can contribute, belong, and succeed.

🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month!

This past Friday, I had the privilege of attending the annual High Level Networking Luncheon hosted by the Contra Costa Building & Construction Trades Council which continues to provide a valuable opportunity to connect with trade affiliates, community leaders, local businesses, and elected officials in a collaborative setting.

Events like this highlight the importance of strong partnerships in advancing workforce development, supporting critical infrastructure, and fostering sustainable economic growth across our region.

I’m grateful for the chance to engage in thoughtful conversations and strengthen partnerships that move our communities forward.
