FiftyForward is honored to celebrate a remarkable milestone this year as we mark 30 years of partnership between FiftyForward Madison Station and The Memorial Foundation!

Since opening our doors in 1996, thanks to an initial grant from The Memorial Foundation, Madison Station has been a vibrant hub for adults 50+ in Madison, East Nashville, Inglewood, Old Hickory, and surrounding communities.

Madison Station was created in response to a real community need, and today, more than 150 members gather daily for lifelong learning, wellness, and connection.

“FiftyForward Madison Station is a jewel in Madison that has engaged older adults and the broader community for the past 30 years. We’re proud to have helped establish this Lifelong Learning Center in 1996, and we continue to partner with FiftyForward to support this important work," said Scott S. Perry, President of The Memorial Foundation.

We are deeply grateful for The Memorial Foundation’s ongoing support, which has helped FiftyForward Madison Station enrich the lives of older adults for three decades.

FiftyForward would like to thank our sponsors for the 27th Annual Barry Coggins Golf Tournament.

This year's event was made possible thanks to the generosity of community partners who support FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels, our vital meal delivery program that annually provides more than 30,000 meals to older adults throughout Middle Tennessee.

What an unforgettable weekend at the inaugural Knoblin Fest!

FiftyForward Donelson Station kicked off the festivities with the Donelson Dancers performing the lively Knoblin Dance, and the amazing Britt Savage debuting her original Knoblin song.

The energy was contagious! We loved seeing so many Donelson businesses and neighbors come together—this is what true community looks like.

Huge shoutout to Michele Mazzu and Maggie Sidlinger for turning a creative idea into a fantastic reality. You truly knocked it out of the park!

And to our dedicated volunteers: THANK YOU! Your passion and hard work made this event shine. We’re already looking forward to next year!

What an incredible day on the greens! The 27th Annual Barry Coggins Golf Tournament was a huge success, and it’s all thanks to our amazing supporters, golfers, and volunteers.

Age is just a number, and the inspiring women of the FiftyForward Donelson Dancers are proving it!

These talented dancers are embracing their golden years and getting ready to shine at the very first Knoblin Fest this weekend. Their special performance is set to a song by a local Donelson artist, making it a true celebration of community spirit and creativity.

Ready to dance? Join us for our new Beginner Dance Class!

Starting Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00 PM, Morgan Mizell of Curtsy Ballroom will be at FiftyForward Martin Center teaching a fun, beginner-friendly class designed for everyone who wants to move, learn, and have a great time!

We’ll explore dances like Salsa, Cha Cha, Swing, and more with easy-to-follow steps that help build rhythm, coordination, balance, and confidence.

Whew — what a BUSY couple of weeks it’s been at FiftyForward Martin Center! We’ve been filling the center with music, laughter, and plenty of fun!

We had the pleasure of welcoming the FiftyForward LaVergne Choir, who put on a wonderful performance and had everyone enjoying the music!

Then we switched gears for an afternoon of COMEDY featuring Sean T. Harris, John Datoy, and Drew Davis! These talented comedians had us laughing and definitely gave us something to smile about!

We love seeing our center full of energy, friends, and new faces. There’s always something happening at Martin Center, and we’re just getting started!

Thank you to everyone who has joined us, participated, performed, volunteered, and helped make these past few weeks so much fun.

What a fantastic time we had at our Sock Hop!

From dancing to classic hits and showing off some great outfits to sharing laughs with friends, it was an afternoon full of fun, music, and memories. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the event so special—you brought the energy and kept the dance floor hopping!

Our FiftyForward Martin Center and Donelson Station members had a wonderful time cheering on the Nashville Sounds, enjoying great company, and soaking up the fun atmosphere at First Horizon Park. From sharing laughs in the stands to singing along during the game, it was an evening full of memories.

The night ended with an incredible fireworks show that lit up the Nashville sky and made for the perfect finale to a great outing!
