👮🏻Happy National Police Women’s Day🚔

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is proud to have FOUR amazing female deputies working with us.
Fun fact: This is the first time in the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office history that we have four female deputies working at our office!

Deputy Fowler works in our patrol and civil division on the seacoast. Deputy Fowler has worked over five years here at the Sheriff’s Office and has assisted passionately with numerous Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) cases across our county.

Deputy Bibeau works in our patrol and civil division and brings a wealth of knowledge on school safety after working as a School Resource Officer for many years. She also spreads her knowledge to other departments on active shooter training to keep our schools safe and secure.

Sgt. Bolton works in our investigations division. With over a decade of law enforcement experience, she is often her co-workers go-to person when they have questions and is always willing to help spread her knowledge.

Deputy Duffy is in our evening patrol and civil division. Deputy Duffy is currently our community relations coordinator and came to us with a decade of experience working with individuals that have intellectual disabilities and individuals in crisis.

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is so fortunate to have these hard working women who are always happy to help not only their co-workers but other agencies as well.

On behalf of the High Sheriff, Charles Massahos, we thank all female law enforcement officers for their service and dedication to keeping our great state safe!

🇺🇸 HONORING THE HEROES OF SEPTEMBER 11TH 🇺🇸

Yesterday, High Sheriff Chuck Massahos and Major Chris Bashaw were honored to attend the Salem, New Hampshire 9/11 Tribute, hosted by the Greater Salem Area Rotary Club.

The ceremony brought together members of the Salem Police Department, Salem Fire Department, first responders, community leaders, local organizations, and residents to remember and honor the lives lost and the extraordinary courage and sacrifice displayed on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day, while honoring the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency personnel, members of our Armed Forces, and ordinary Americans who responded with incredible bravery and selflessness.

Events like this are an important reminder that September 11th is not simply a moment in our nation’s history—it is a day we must continue to teach future generations about, ensuring that the sacrifice, courage, unity, and service demonstrated that day are never forgotten.

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is grateful to the Greater Salem Area Rotary Club and everyone who helped organize and participate in this morning’s meaningful tribute.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

WARRANT WEDNESDAY🚗💨

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance locating
Lida-Marie Levesque 51, of Derry.

Levesque is wanted on a Rockingham County Superior Court warrant in regards to the following charges stemming from an incident that took place on January 14th and 28th 2023, in Salem;

Receiving Stolen Property
Unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle or rented property

The court documents allege that Levesque rented a 2022 Toyota Camry from Enterprise, and if you ask us… that’s a pretty nice car to “borrow”. The only problem is she never returned it! Apparently the whole “return it when you’re done” thing wasn’t a part of her plan. It looks like showing up to court wasn’t a part of her plan either because on March 27, 2025, Levesque failed to appear for her plea and sentencing hearing too.

Levesque is known to frequent the Derry, Salem, and Plaistow area. If you or anyone you know has any information on her whereabouts please contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office and ask to speak with the warrants division.

All callers and reporting parties will remain anonymous.
Levesque is innocent until proven guilty.

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance locating
Melanie Rusinski 44, of Nottingham.

Rusinski is wanted on a Rockingham County Superior Court warrant in regards to the following charges stemming from an incident that took place on May 22, 2026, in Nottingham;

Resisting arrest
Extended term of imprisonment simple assault X4
Possession of a controlled drug

You may be asking yourself “what does extended term of imprisonment simple assault mean”? Well, these four complaints allege that Rusinski bit an officer THREE times AND kicked him in the face.

All that Kung Fu Panda energy must have run out shortly after because Rusinski failed to appear for her arraignment on August 21, 2026. She even went around town telling people her charges just… poof… disappeared. Unfortunately, that’s not how this works. There was definitely a court date, the charges definitely didn’t disappear, and you seem to be the only thing that… pooof… disappeared.

Rusinski is known to frequent the Nottingham area. If you or anyone you know has any information on her whereabouts please contact the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office and ask to speak with the warrants division.
All callers and reporting parties will remain anonymous.

Rusinski is innocent until proven guilty.
