Our thoughts are with this officer and their family following a serious motor vehicle accident. Our office is hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

On June 11, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Londonderry Police Department was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle accident on Stonehenge Road.

While responding to the accident, one of our officers, who was operating a fully marked police motorcycle, was involved in a separate crash. The crash occurred on Hardy Road near Pheasant Run Road.

Our officer was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital in Manchester. At this time, he is in stable condition. The operator of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Hardy Road is currently closed while the crash is being investigated by the Derry Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Team.

On Tuesday June 9th, a BOLO came over the air looking for an individual who had just struck and dragged a Lawrence MA Police Officer during a motor vehicle stop and fled the scene. Rockingham County Deputies began searching the area of Rt. 125 in Plaistow and were able to locate the involved vehicle in a parking lot near the area of Garden Road.
We are grateful to have Deputies assigned to the United States Marshal's Service New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force who assisted in taking this dangerous suspect into custody.

Even though annual inspections are no longer required by law. Motorists have an obligation to ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy and safe.

Today, deputies came upon this motor vehicle that had a mechanical failure causing the wheel and hub to shear off the axle. This caused the driver to go off the road as his tire and wheel continued to roll past him at speeds of 55 mph. Fortunately, the vehicle or tire did not crash into any other persons, vehicles or property.

Please remember to conduct regular preventative maintenance. Regularly inspect your own vehicle or have a qualified person inspect it to make sure that it is safe and legal for the road.

Last weekend deputies attended Derry’s Touch-A-Truck event. This annual event is one of the largest in the area and is always a great time! Deputy Greeley and Deputy Martin were able to give the community a tour of our M-ATV and hand out some RCSO swag. A big thank you to the Derry, NH Police Department for continuing this amazing tradition.
