Brent Fire Department is looking for motivated volunteers.
If you want to give back to your community, come on down and get signed up. All training and gear are provided. Be part of a team and give back to your community.
18yrs and older to signup, or if you are 16yrs old and intrested you can be a junior volunteer and help out with our adults. Preferable if you live in Brent or South Sallisaw area.
Stop by and say hello or sign up if you see the doors open, or message us and we can arrange a time to meet and get you signed up.

Today, I had the pleasure of presenting Mr. Rodney Beard with a retirement plaque. Mr. Beard served the community of Brent and Redlands for over 25 years as a volunteer firefighter. His service and presence within the community have been a valuable asset; within the fire department, his presence, expertise, and leadership will be missed. Mr. Beard has assisted with over 1,000 calls as a firefighter and first responder. In a profession where over 60 percent of the nation's firefighters are volunteers, his dedication and service are truly inspiring. For this, the Brent Volunteer Fire Department thanks you and the citizens of the Brent Community. We would also like to thank Mrs. Beard for her unwavering devotion and for allowing Rodney to answer the call at 2 AM.

Brent Volunteer Fire dept would like to thank Sonic Towing of Sallisaw for providing the fire department with multiple vehicles to train with on extrication. It's businesses like Sonic Towing that allow volunteer fire departments to continuously train on a minimal budget. We would also like to thank Orielys Auto Parts of Sallisaw for their expedient work and service in helping us get our rescue truck running. One last thank you to the Mckey volunteer fire department for assistance in securing extraction equipment. It truly takes a community for a rural fire department to run.
