Purr-fect adoption update:

Elizabeth settled in so easily on Saturday (8/29). She plays hard and then wants to be loved on. Her middle name should be spitfire!!! After she plays her zoomies out she becomes a very distinguished young lady. She is still deciding what to do with Spencer (the now 12-day-old orphan we are bottle feeding). I know in time they will be fine together. Each night she sleeps above the bedding between Craig’s knees, trapping him on his back. He’s loving every minute of both the kittens. She jumps into the air easily 2 feet and flies off the bed, landing several feet away, and does that many times over and over. Her favorite place during the day is sleeping next to a window overlooking the yard and the neighbor’s goats. Thank you for all you do to help place animals in loving homes and all your love given to our county. Brenham is blessed to have the shelter and the great staff.

Thanks to our amazing community, 16 animals were adopted and 1 more was reserved during Clear the Shelters today! That means more pets heading home and more space opening up for animals who need us. ❤️
