American Mahjong Open Play nights at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library are on the first and third Tuesdays form 6:00 until 8:00. Join us May 19.
Open play with no lessons and no cost is a fun way to practice the game, meet others, and try out the hobby sweeping the state. The library will provide two table set ups, but bring your own tiles, mats, racks and current National Mahjong League playing card in case the program grows. Contact the library with any questions.

Invest a little time learning how to join in with clubs and organizations in our community to help others. Come to the Library Wednesday from 2pm until 4pm to visit and find out what is going on at the various booths and learn about their outreach work. Although our focus today is on opportunities for women, many can also include men and families.

One of the most exciting events of the Library125 birthday celebrations will be the grand opening of The Dibley and Friends Sculpture Art Exhibit on March 10, 2026 at 4pm. Beloved characters from the stories of Detective Dibley, are brought to life through sculpture by local artist Ruth Wilson. Join Miss Lou-Lou, Ruth and Terry Wilson, and other local children and families, to celebrate the arrival of Dibley's friends. Hear the story behind the art and the characters and hear Terry's newest book.
See the Wilson’s newest art form making the characters come alive with AI.
