Last week at preschool:
We started practicing for our Spring Program. We love celebrating the growth our students have made throughout the year!
After watching our caterpillars turn into butterflies the past weeks, we are able to release them. 3Day classes made Very Hungry Caterpillar shirts with the help of some grown ups. They are so cute!!

We had soo much fun!!
For Field Day we played relay games. While the games were great, the best part was cheering on our friends!
Then we celebrated Father’s Day early with Desserts with Dad. Sometimes dads miss out when Father’s Day falls outside of the school calendar, but we want to make sure they get recognized for the important role they play in their child’s development.

We had a short week as we met with parents for conferences. It was wonderful to recognize and celebrate each students’ growth.
2Day classes did plant seeds to symbolize how our faith can grow. The sign says “You take care of the sowing, and God will take care of the growing.”

Last week at Preschool:
We got a bug infestation! Ants, caterpillars, and ladybugs all arrived contained in their habitats for our students to observe and study.
Classes are reviewing numbers and letters. PreK named the missing number in the number line. 3Day classes saved the toys from the cage by naming the letter it starts with and writing the letter. 3Day also got to practice writing letters with shaving cream. It is always a fun sensory activity!
The highlight of the week was celebrating our moms at our annual Mother’s Day Tea! We gave her the gifts we made and had some special one-on-one time.

Last Week at Preschool:
Miss Lyndsie’s PreK class had a letter hunt around the classroom. The capital letters were “hidden” around the room. As students found each one, they circled or traced the lower case on their paper. They were so engaged, and it was wonderful to see their teamwork and cooperation as they assisted their friends in finding and matching the letters.
Also last week we had a fundraiser for our scholarship fund. We raised over $1700. Thank you for your support!

How to Participate:
1. Download the Double Good app.
2. Set up your own virtual store connected to WOL using code: OPIXEN
3. Share your store link with anyone in the USA.
4. Orders can be placed from Sunday, April 26th at noon through Sunday, May 3rd at noon.
5. Once the order window closes, Double Good begins filling orders and shipping directly to our supporters.

Direct Donation: Don’t want popcorn but still want to help? Great! Donations can be made directly to the WOL scholarship fund through the CNC Subsplash portal. Simply select the Wonders of Learning Campus and the Marilisa Herndon Scholarship Fund, then follow the prompts. 3 MORE DAYS!
We are 72 hours away from our Double Good virtual store closing for the year. You don’t want to miss your opportunity to get some fresh, delicious popcorn shipped directly to you AND support the WOL scholarship fund at the same time!
We are currently $3500 away from our goal. That is a big lift in a short time, but with your help sharing our link with any friends in the US, we really believe we can fully fund scholarships for the 26-27 school year.

We are about halfway through our spring fundraiser for the WOL Scholarship Fund. Your generosity through fundraisers and direct donations helps us keep tuitions costs down and provide a stellar education available to all families in our community. Our goal is $5000 in sales which equals $2500 going directly to families in need of financial assistance by offsetting tuition costs. This amount will fully fund our scholarship fund for the 26-27 school year. We are currently a long way from our goal.

It is really easy to participate in our fundraiser.

2. Share the link with all your friends and family in the US. An added personal note goes a long way, and every purchase helps.
Our virtual store closes on Sunday, May 3rd at noon. Popcorn will be shipped directly to the supporter.
