There are only a few more openings for the Vehicle Fire Investigation class left, and a handful for the Photography class. Going to be another outstanding week!

Up until March 31st, the $525 registration for this years Symposium was granted a $50 "Earlybird" reduction. We have decided to continue this reduction for the "Digital Forensic Photography" class only! Spread the word and hope we can get some additional students. Everyone we've spoken to who have attended this class speak very highly of it.

The "Basic Fire Investigation" and "Advanced Investigation Topics" classes are full and no longer taking registrations. We do need additional students for the "Photography" class or risk it being cancelled for this year. Students currently enrolled in this class will be offered attendance in another class.

We need more folks for the photography class. It is an outstanding learning experience for not only fire investigators but also for law enforcement. Spread the word to your friends in Blue. The skills learned in this class will make you a better photographer for any scene. And, the price is right!

Each year we try to make our conference even better than the year before, and I think we did it! We were near full capacity for attendees and on July 31st we will meet with our conference partners, IAAI Chapter 21, to begin preparations for the 2018 conference.
At our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 9th, the membership re-elected Don Tomaso, Mark Crowley, and Jerry Jacobsen to three year terms as Board Members. We then met and appointed Don Tomaso to serve as President and Kathy Baker Vice President for the following year. President Tomaso then appointed Mark Crowley-Secretary, Jerry Jacobsen-Treasurer, and Mike Patti and Mike Curley as Trustees.
If you have suggestions for subjects for next years conference, please contact a member from either Board.

Registration for this years conference is open. The "Basic Fire Investigation" class is Full! There are openings for the other five classes. Get your applications in, the "Application of Fire Dynamics for Origin & Cause Determination" has only a couple of openings left! Please note that registration increases to $475 after March 31st.
