Our crews have been part of the many folks working to get ready for FIFA and an amazing summer downtown. So amazing to see this work payoff!
Yesterday was one of those moments that reminds you just how much momentum is building in Downtown Bremerton.
We were incredibly honored to officially receive the Sea Beacon “Selfless Station” from Puget Sound Energy — a legacy art installation that will now serve as a centerpiece and official photo opportunity inside Bremerton’s SeattleFWC26 Fan Zone this summer.
Huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate its arrival alongside our community, local business owners, Mayor Greg Wheeler, and Commissioner Katie Walters. The energy in Quincy Square yesterday was electric, and it truly felt like the kickoff to an unforgettable summer in Bremerton.
Out of all 9 Fan Zones across Washington, only 3 were selected to receive a Sea Beacon installation — and Bremerton was one of them. It’s exciting to see the hard work, collaboration, and momentum happening in our city being recognized on this level.
This summer, Quincy Square transforms into a mini stadium experience with giant match screenings, live music, family-friendly activities, cultural celebrations, food, and eight official Fan Zone events leading into the FIFA World Cup excitement.
Now let’s go.
Bring on the World Cup. ⚽🌊
