Preparing Kitsap businesses for the opportunities ahead! ⚽

The Asset Building Coalition of Kitsap and BE$T (Business Education Support & Training) team recently partnered to host a special event focused on helping local small businesses prepare for the excitement and economic opportunities that the upcoming FIFA World Cup will bring to the Puget Sound region.

Participants learned about available resources, best practices, and strategies to help their businesses attract visitors, increase visibility, and make the most of this global event.

A special thank you to Irene Moyer from the Greater Kitsap Chamber for sharing valuable insights and opportunities available to our local business community.

Thank you as well to Arber Metuku, Marketing Director of Kitsap Community Resources, for presenting marketing strategies to help businesses prepare for increased tourism and visibility opportunities, and to Joyce Oswald for facilitating the event and fostering meaningful discussion, networking, and collaboration among participants.

Today, we honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. Our offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday.

Tax season is officially wrapped, and what a season it was!

A huge thank you to our incredible team (employees, contractors and volunteers) who helped over 300 households across Kitsap County and surrounding areas with tax preparation this year. Their dedication, expertise, and heart for the community made a real difference in people’s lives.
