WHY TAKE THE FEMA CERT TRAINING?
After a disaster, firefighters, paramedics, and police may not be available to respond to right away. That is why we recommend...Be prepared to take care of yourself and your neighborhood for a week or more.
CERT members train in basic disaster response skills - fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical first aid.
CERT training can give you basic skills needed to assist with life safety actions during and after an emergency.
CERT training is FREE and open to any person in Kitsap County over the age of 18. you
The next CERT Basic training will begin on 3 April, 2025 at Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management (DEM) Campus, 8900 Imperial Way SW, Bremerton.
