Kitsap Transit is scheduled to reduce fast-ferry service between Bremerton and Seattle beginning August 31, with seven daily round trips being eliminated.

For many Bremerton residents, the ferry is more than transportation. It’s part of the daily routine for work, school, appointments, and getting around the Puget Sound.

What does this have to do with Bremerton Municipal Court??

Temporary state funding to boost service runs out Sept. 1.

It was a stressful day at the All Rise Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, when our public defender, Kim McKarin’s mobility cane unexpectedly broke. Not knowing what to do next, Michelle and Liz from All Rise immediately sprang into action. They located a replacement, arranged an Uber to get us there, and made sure we had the support we needed.

When we arrived, Alison with Blind Early Services of TN - (BEST) went above and beyond by generously gifting Kim a brand-new mobility cane. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, compassion, and teamwork shown by everyone involved. Moments like these are a powerful reminder that a caring community can make all the difference. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into one we’ll never forget.

It doesn’t get much better than ice cream on a hot day. Most of us would order sprinkles, not surprises.

A woman decided to go topless at a local Bremerton Dairy Queen, making numerous bystanders look the other way. Thanks to the Dairy Queen staff, the incident was called in and the woman was taken into custody and gifted a private reservation at our amazing courthouse this morning.

Please remember if you see something, say something. Don’t wait for someone else to do the right thing. Great work Dairy Queen staff and Bremerton Police Department!! 🎉🍦

We had a runner in court today and thought it a good time to remind everyone that regardless of your situation, running from your problems does not make them go away. Unfortunately, situations like today may lead to increased bail amounts, additional jail time, and new charges on your record.

Shout out to Bremerton Police Department for being quick to respond and escorting our valued customer back.
