☀️🚔 Good Morning, Bremen! 🚔☀️

Well... the Bremen Firemen’s Festival has come and gone, and we hope you've enjoyed our posts this past week as much as we've enjoyed creating them!

We wanted to try something a little different, have a little fun, and connect with everyone in a new way. Judging by the smiles, comments, and community spirit we saw all week, we'd say Bremen understood the assignment. ✅

One thing this week reminded us of is just how special this town really is. In a world that sometimes feels like it's moving a mile a minute, Bremen is still the kind of place where neighbors help neighbors, people wave from their front porches, and someone always knows someone who can help.

As summer rolls on, we encourage everyone to keep enjoying everything that makes our town great:

🌟 Support our amazing local businesses
🌟 Attend community events
🌟 Lend a helping hand when someone needs it
🌟 Be kind, patient, and welcoming
🌟 Get involved and make a difference

Because the truth is, Bremen isn't great because of any one event, organization, or department. Bremen is great because of you—the people who show up, care about each other, and make this community feel like home.

And let's be honest... in a small town, if you do something nice for someone, there's about a 97% chance your grandma will hear about it by lunchtime anyway. 😄

Thank you for making Bremen the kind of place we're proud to serve and proud to call home. Here's to a safe, fun, and memorable summer!

❤️🏡 Bremen Strong. Bremen Proud.

🚨🎡 FINAL DAY ALERT! 🎆🚒

The Bremen Firemen’s Festival has entered its season finale, and trust us—you don’t want to miss this episode! 📺🍿

After a week of great food, thrilling rides, community fun, and enough festival memories to fill a highlight reel, we're closing things out in style tonight!

🔥 Food Area opens at 4:00 PM
🎠 Carnival opens at 6:00 PM
🎆 Fireworks launch around 10:30 PM

Think of tonight as the "Avengers: Endgame" of festival week—everyone comes together for one epic finale! 💥

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your appetite, and maybe bring your best fireworks-viewing spot. 😎

We'll see you at the festival... because unlike your favorite streaming show, this finale only happens once a year! 🎡🎇

🎆 FIREWORKS SEASON IS HERE! 🎆

We all love a good BOOM... but let's make sure your celebration doesn't become your neighbor's complaint or your pet's worst nightmare. 😅

Before lighting the fuse, remember that fireworks can be stressful for veterans, individuals with PTSD, people with medical conditions, pets, and wildlife. What sounds like fun to some can be frightening or overwhelming to others. Please be respectful and considerate of those around you.

📢 Indiana Fireworks Laws:

✅ Must be 18 or older to purchase fireworks.
✅ Fireworks may only be used on your property, property where you have permission, or designated locations.
✅ General use is allowed from 9 AM–11 PM statewide (Other towns and communities may have local ordinances that are more restrictive).
✅ On state holidays, fireworks may be used from 9 AM–Midnight.
✅ Protected Indiana fireworks dates include:
• June 29–July 3: 5 PM until 2 hours after sunset
• July 4: 10 AM–Midnight
• July 5–July 9: 5 PM until 2 hours after sunset
• December 31: 10 AM–1 AM

🚒 Public fireworks displays require state permits and fire department approval.

🔥 BE CAREFUL!
Did you know sparklers burn at approximately 2,000°F? That's hot enough to melt some metals!

Keep these safety tips in mind:
💥 Light only one firework at a time.
💥 Never relight a "dud."
💥 Keep a hose, bucket of water, or fire extinguisher nearby.
💥 Children should never use fireworks without close adult supervision.
💥 Never smoke or drink alcohol while lighting fireworks.
💥 Never hold, throw, or point fireworks at anyone.
💥 Be mindful of wind and keep spectators away from smoke and debris.
💥 Soak used fireworks with water before disposal.
💥 Never attempt to make or alter fireworks.
💥 Keep pets indoors and in a safe, quiet area away from the noise.

Remember: The goal is to make memories—not emergency room visits, fire department calls, or runaway pet reports. 😉

Have fun, celebrate responsibly, and help us keep Bremen safe
