On this episode of Moments with the Mayor, Mayor Sharon Sewell sits down with Titan Ministries for a powerful conversation about addiction, changing mindsets, breaking cycles, and what it really means to rebuild a life.
Sometimes addiction looks the way we expect it to. Other times, it can look like being stuck in a cycle of bad choices...making the same decisions over and over and not knowing how to choose a different path. Titan Ministries believes lasting change begins by learning to simply do “the next right thing.”
Through Titan House, men re-entering society after addiction, incarceration, or rehab are given a foundation built around three simple commitments: Church. Home. Work. Spiritual grounding, a stable place to live, meaningful employment, consistency, and personal responsibility all work together to help men learn a new way of life.
And sometimes the victories are things many of us might take for granted; the pride of earning your own paycheck, paying back child support, providing for your family, rebuilding trust, and realizing, I can do this the right way.
Those changes reach far beyond one individual. When a man learns a different way to live, his children get to see something different. Families can begin to heal, cycles can be broken, and the trajectory of an entire generation can change.
Titan Ministries was born from one family’s own journey through addiction, incarceration, faith, redemption, and restoration. Today, that story has grown into a ministry focused on helping others find the same hope and reminding us that “sobriety is only the beginning.”
Join us for this Moments with the Mayor and learn more about Titan Ministries, the heart behind their work, and the incredible difference that can come from choosing the next right thing...again and again.
