The Village of Breedsville is covering the cost of the rebuild of W. main and the four corners. The village Trustees and President have been working to replace all the roads in the Village. The village allowed a ma*****na provisional center to operate in the village of Breedsville and the Village has received tax revenue for allowing this business to operate in the village. With those funds the village council has chose to replace the roads to make it better for the residents and those passing through our Village.

Let me make something clear “Breedsville through kittys eyes” is not the official village of Breedsville page. There is a rumor that the author of this page is out there spreading. MEC is not paying for the road rebuild of Main Street and the four corners. Here is the truth of what is going on MEC’s subcontractors hit our drain pipes that run under the roads. MEC did get a bond to go under the roads in Breedsville. The Village is working with MEC on the cost of the replacement of the pipes that were hit. There are several communities that MEC subcontractors have hit pipes or underground lines. So don’t believe all the rumors. You should come to the Village meetings or read our minutes of the meetings on the village website/ document portal.

This message is from the Village President
I have received complaints about someone going around and recording residents property. This is not a person from the Village council. Or the ordinance officer. If you see this please contact the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department. This is a violation of your privacy. And can be a safety issue. The Van Buren Co. Sheriff s deputy that covers Breedsville has been notified. Thank you for help with this issue.

Blight
Blight has been a big concern in many communities. The Village President and Village trustees take these complaints very seriously as this affects the community as a whole. If you have gotten a notice from our ordinance officer that is because the council has gotten a complaint about the blight. The Village council understands this is difficult times and they are willing to work with the resident to help cleanup the blight. The Village council will give you a free dump pass to help dispose of any items that are causing the blight issue. Thank you to the people that have taken care of the blight issues you may have had. Thank you for help keeping the Village a nice place to live,
Steven Rogusta,
Village president
