Breckenridge Hills PD has partnered with St. John PD, Overland PD and Woodson Terrace PD to hold a Citizens Police Academy this fall.

If you're interested, please complete the registration form and forward it to Lt. Branstetter or any of the listed representatives from the other agencies. The deadline to submit your application is August 23rd. Space is limited, so please apply soon if you're interested!

*** Update on the kidnapping and motor vehicle theft that took place on 07/05/2023 ***

The case was presented to the Saint Louis County Prosecutor's Office and the following charges were issued:

CHILD KIDNAPPING - CLASS A FELONY
STEALING MOTOR VEHICLE - CLASS D FELONY

Subject's bond was set at ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

Chief Robinson would like to thank the Saint Louis County Prosecutor's Office for their assistance, as well as ALL officers that responded and/or assisted to help locate the child.

On 07/05/2023 at approximately 1700 hours Breckenridge Hills Police responded to Raul's Automotive, located at 9628 St. Charles Rock Road for a report of a kidnapping and auto theft . Officers were advised that the vehicle was stolen with a child inside.

The Breckenridge Hills PD immediately contacted the MSHP to issue an Amber Alert. A call was placed to the mother's phone, which was left in the vehicle. The suspect answered and advised that the child was let out of the car on Olive BLVD. That information was shared with surrounding agencies. A short time later, Creve Couer Police located the child.

Breckenridge Hills PD tracked the stolen vehicle to the 3200 block of Royalton Avenue. While canvassing the area Breckenridge Hills Officers located the vehicle and arrested the suspect.

The suspect is being held and this case will be presented to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys Office for charges.

We would like to thank all surrounding agencies for their assistance and a safe return of the child.

🎅🏼 Santa Clause is Coming to Town 🎅🏼

When: Saturday December 17, 2022
Time: 09:30 A.M.

Tomorrow starting around 09:30 A.M. be on the look out for Santa Clause traveling through Breckenridge Hills delivering toys to the awesome kids who live in our area!

This is the third year we have teamed up with Stl Youth Sports Outreach for this awesome event.

Santa will be es**rted by Breckenridge Hills Officers, Woodson Terrace Police, St. John Police, Overland Police, and the US Military.

We will do our very best to es**rt Santa down as many streets as possible but can not guarantee to he will be able to make an appearance on every street.

Listen for the police sirens and the parade of police cars to know Santa is coming!

We are so excited and can't wait to see everyone! ⛄🎁🎄

Do you remember last year when our favorite organization, STL YOUTH SPORTS OUTREACH defeated The Grinch and saved Christmas for many of our residents?

Now it's our turn to save the day! Today only Raising Cane's in St. Ann, will be donating 15% of their sales to STL YOUTH SPORTS OUTREACH.

What an all around WIN! Helping others while eating delicious food. So if you have time this afternoon stop by and show your support.
