All of us here at The Butte LaRose Volunteer Fire Department would like to let everyone know that there is a Red Flag Warning “FIRE BAN” in St. Martin Parish due to the dry weather and windy conditions. Neighboring parishes are also under this ban. Please refrain from burning trash, debris and open fires.

We had a very productive afternoon at the BLRVFD. Everyone present got sized for our updated fire fighting gear & we geared up completely to perform the ladder rung tests of getting through tight spaces in full gear. Thanks to everyone for your efforts. Chance, Ricky, Dustin, Kade, Blake & Mrs. Kim. Jerry for instruction plus we refilled our air tanks.
