In 1962, President Kennedy signed a proclamation designating May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day, which eventually grew into National Police Week. It’s a time set aside each year to honor the brave men and women who have dedicated, and often given their lives to protect our communities.

Yesterday, we gathered for our Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony to honor, Detective Danny Valenzuela and Detective Terry Fincher. We will never forget their courage, dedication and sacrifice. Thank you for your service! 💙

We are serious. Drive sober or get pulled over. 🚔🛑
Driving under the influence puts your life and the lives of others on the road in immediate danger. Plan for a sober ride home.

Funding for our DUI enforcement efforts is provided by a grant from the CHP Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program.
