National Flag Day happens each year on June 14 to honor Old Glory and commemorate the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777. The holiday is a day that Americans show respect for the U.S. Flag and what it represents.

The City of Brazoria is hosting the Basic Animal Control Officer class with state test On Monday, August 24, 2026 and Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 8am to 5pm at the American Legion Hall.
This course is an essential stepping stone for anyone pursuing a career in animal control, offering valuable instruction and knowledge to build a successful and impactful career in the field. The course fee is $150.00.
