The Bridge's name is the Creamery Bridge - because behind it - used to be a milk creamery. You can still see one wall of the creamery when you pull into the parking lot behind the Creamery Bridge. Most of the Covered Bridges in Vermont have names as well as numbers. On this web page https://sites.google.com/site/vermontcobbleproject/covered-bridges you can see the picture of the old creamery, as well as find links the Vermont Covered Bridge Society and our National Registry Certificate - which state the Common Name of the Bridge as "Creamery Covered Bridge". JilMac - Brattleboro Garden Club - Creamery Covered Bridge park chairperson.
