Overflow the Opera House is Thursday September 17th! All proceeds go directly to Our Place's Community Meal and Food Pantry Programs in Bellows Falls! See below for more details!

Overflow the Opera House is Thursday September 17th
Each fall, we collect donations in a effort to overflow the Opera House. Join us in the Square in Bellows Falls to raise money and collect non perishable food in support of Our Place.

To donate money you can do so online or come down in person. We have drop off locations for food at Lisai's Market, M and T Bank in Bellows Falls, and Our Place Community Food Center at 4 Island Street in Bellows Falls.

All proceeds go directly to Our Place's Community Meal and Food Pantry Programs.

Today, we remember all those lost on 9/11, with a particular place in our hearts for Father Mychal Judge. Long before September 11, Father Judge was a fierce advocate for people living with HIV/AIDS. During the height of the AIDS crisis, when stigma was everywhere, he visited patients, held the hands of the dying, and supported grieving families. On September 11, 2001, he rushed to the World Trade Center to pray for victims and first responders. He was killed by falling debris in the North Tower lobby. His life connected two eras of unimaginable loss. In both, he showed the same compassion: seeing the person behind the crisis, standing beside people in their darkest moments, and refusing to let fear or stigma get in the way of humanity.

‼️HCRS and AIDS Project of Southern Vermont Connectionworks Outreach Van is starting its Fall/Winter schedule‼️ Starting this week Mobile Van Tuesdays will start tomorrow 9/8! We'll be there every week from 9AM - 12PM! The North Star Health Mobile Health Unit will joining us every other Tuesday (starting tomorrow from 9AM - 4PM!). We're very excited for this collaboration! The Mobile Health Unit has non emergent, primary care available regardless on insurance.

The AIDS Project offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

VIRTUAL Pride in Aging: LGBTQ+ Meet-Up

Join us for our monthly meet-up, a welcoming space designed to support the health, well-being, and connection of LGBTQ+ older adults. Each session includes a brief informative topic focused on LGBTQ+ wellness.
