Hard to imagine it was 4 years ago the Project won this prestigious state award , but we've never stopped building the Trail story by story with 30 new stories produced as we ready a beautiful exhibit to be placed on the new Amtrak station with an updated, 2nd Edition map and updated app AND a 2nd edition, 4th printing completed of the book Print Town: Brattleboro's Legacy of Words. This popular map blog just featured the beautiful Brattleboro Words Trail maps printed from Cynthia Parker-Houghton's large carved murals she is re-imagining and updating with new elements and text as public art on the new Amtrak Station in Brattleboro on track to open in March 2026! A HatchSpace team is designing it with local white oak, text printed on metal, wayfinding signs by Chris Grotke with QR codes to listen to over 120 stories, with 20 sites in the immediate vicinity of the station. alone, at least six in NH.
