As part of the day to day preparations PWSD #3 takes during this current pandemic, employees of PWSD #3 have been instructed concerning steps they need to take to keep themselves and the customers safe as possible. Employees are to pay more attention to proper handwashing and disinfection plus they are being encouraged to maintain a safer social-distancing space betw
een them and customers, limiting direct contact such as hand shaking. Employees will not be entering customer structures except in extreme circumstances.
Employees in the office are taking steps to regularly clean the areas of the office available to the customers. Disinfecting products are being used on all surfaces which could be accessed by customers and employees.
In addition, during the uncertain times facing us with the COVID-19 pandemic, PWSD #3 encourages its customers who are concerned about entering the office to make payments to utilize one of the other methods of payment available to the customers which doesn't involve face to face contact.
These methods include:
ACH-The payment for the monthly water bill is automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 15th of the month. This method requires the customer to complete a form and submit a cancelled check.
BANK PAYMENT METHOD-This method requires you to contact your bank to set up payments to PWSD #3 through the bank via paper or electronic checks.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS- Can only be used as a payment method on the District's website, www.taneywater3.com. Under normal circumstances, since the credit card processors charge a fee for credit/debit card payments, the District charges a $2 per transaction convenience fee. During this pandemic time, the convenience fee is being waived for those customers who choose to use this option as their preferred payment method.
DROP BOX- There is a drop box along the edge of the parking lot across from the office which you can access from your car.
