The LFL has received a timely refresh, having cleared out old materials and adding a vast array of new titles. Our shelves feature an all new collection of kids' books, chapter books, adult literature, and oversized books located in the bottom. Stop by often to discover what new books have been added. Although the Puzzle/game box installation is still pending, we will keep you updated on its progress.

I'm grateful for the kindness that brought these bags to our Little Free Library but to keep our library a welcoming place for book lovers, let's focus on donations that fit our library's space. Please do not leave items that are not book related. For items like these, our neighbors at the Fort White Thrift Store are eager to help and are better equipped to find them a good home. Together, we can maintain the joy of our library and support a great local resource.

The Little Free Puzzle box has been painted and is now ready for installation. A local church has graciously offered to install it upon their return from a mission trip in the Bahamas. Once installed, the puzzle box will be operational and stocked with a variety of puzzles and games. We will announce its official opening date soon. Meanwhile, feel free to visit the Little Free Library and select some books to take home.

Lots of visitors to the LFL this last week so we did a mini restock! Lots of good books to choose from. Just posting on the LFL FB page so if you have liked the page you get first look at what’s new. Stop by often and find something new to read!!

Refreshed the library for Spring!! 🌼🌸🌺 Pulled everything out and put in all new books. Lots of different genres and ages. We have kids chapter books, children’s picture books, early readers, adult paperbacks and some great thrillers! Don’t forget to check the bottom for oversized books — both kids and adults. Included some extra little toys for the kids. Someone dropped off some outside/water toys so help yourself. I did place a container with bookmarks in as well. Want to place bets on how long before someone takes the glass container? 🤣🤣🤣 Fingers crossed 🤞 And hoping it stays for a while. I also got some new lights and am going to place those out so that our evening visitors can see the books. Hopefully the light thief will leave them alone 😉 Stop by often and take some books home to read. I have lots to share!! 📚📚

So I went out to the Library this evening to check on it and I noticed that someone has once again stolen the motion lights that I had in it for the convenience of our visitors who come after dark. I put the first one out in June of 2022 so I suppose that over a 3 year span it isn’t horrible, but this is the third light that has been stolen. 🙄🤨☹️😠 So I decided to add some to my Little Free Library Wishlist on Amazon. I have an amazing online community that helps out with books for the library on occasion but I decided to go ahead and post here as well in case anyone out in our local community would like to help out as well. These will be sent directly to me if purchased. I appreciate all of the support for our LFL!!

Finally got around to restocking the library for the new year! Lots of new books for all ages and different genres! We even have some great YA (Young Adult) books. Be sure to check the bottom for some great cookbooks and oversize kids books! Lots of little trinkets too. Stop by soon and often! Happy New Year!!

To the person who dropped off the bags of items earlier today at the LFL it looks like these folks needed whatever it was. I wasn’t aware that it was out there but these folks saw it!! Hope that it makes their Christmas merrier!! Thank you for your generosity!
