🍃 SPRING LEAF COLLECTION STARTS TODAY 🍃

Leaf collection begins today and runs for the next four weeks. Leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags and placed to the curb on your collection day. There is no limit on number of bags.

🌿 YARD WASTE COLLECTION 🌿

Yard waste days are the second and fourth Friday of each month April thru November. Yard waste must be scheduled for pickup. There is a limit of 3 bags, barrels, OR bundles per collection.

*FRIENDLY REMINDER* The Branford Transfer Station will be CLOSED this Saturday, April 4th.

The Transfer Station will be OPEN Friday, April 3rd from 7:15AM to 1:30PM. All other town offices will be closed that day in observation of the Easter holiday.

Curbside collection will NOT be impacted by this closure.

⚠️❄️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BRANFORD RESIDENTS REGARDING CURBSIDE COLLECTION ❄️⚠️

Due to the significant amount of snow, the Branford Transfer Station will remain CLOSED Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Curbside collection will NOT occur Tuesday to allow Branford Department of Public Works crews the time and space they need to continue their snow clean up efforts.

Residents that usually place trash and recycling out on Mondays/Tuesdays should place their totes to the curb by midnight February 24th for collection Wednesday, February 25th.

Wednesday collection will take place Thursday, February 26th

Thursday collection will take place Friday, February 27th

⚠️❄️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BRANFORD RESIDENTS:

With snow approaching, curbside trash and recycling collection will NOT take place Monday, February 23rd to allow room for plows to operate.

Curbside trash and recycling collection will resume Tuesday, February 24th operating on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.

The Branford Transfer Station will be CLOSED Monday, February 23rd as well.
