NOTICE TO RESIDENTS: DOG REGULATIONS IN LOCAL PARKS

Please review and follow the park rules regarding dogs to help keep our community spaces clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone:

🐕 No dogs are allowed in Depot Park.

🐕 In the Community Park, dogs are permitted only on paved roads and along the outer perimeter. Dogs may swim only in the north and west areas of the pond.

🐕 Dogs are not allowed in the following areas:

➡️Pond swim area
➡️Playground
➡️Ball diamond
➡️Bleachers
➡️Bathroom areas
➡️Within 20 feet of the Veteran’s Memorial

🐕 All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

🐕 Owners are required to pick up after their pets.

There continues to be a significant amount of dog waste in both parks. This is unacceptable and negatively impacts the experience for all visitors.

If dogs continue to be off-leash and owners fail to clean up after them, dogs may no longer be permitted in the park at all.

Please be responsible and respectful by following these rules. Violators may be subject to citation.

Thank you for your cooperation.

🌳 Happy Arbor Day!
Today we celebrate the amazing role trees play in our lives. They clean our air, give us shade, provide homes for wildlife, and help fight climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.

Attached you’ll find a brief breakdown of the current trees in our village!

Planting a tree is more than just gardening — it’s a gift to the planet and future generations. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the trees around us, and maybe even plant one today. 🌱💚
