Both scholarships offer a $500 local scholarship from our VFW post and the winners will move to the next round where there are more opportunities for additional funds. Deadline is 31 October.

We are have a members-only Oktoberfest party on the 26th at 6:00. It’s going to be a fun time!!

If interested in joining our VFW post and Auxiliary, reach out or show up to the post on Tuesday at 6 pm before our monthly meeting.

Congratulations to Tommy Arnold for winning the tournament. I know for a fact that some of the chips in his pile he got from me 🤣. If you missed this one, do not worry; we will hold another one in the future. Thanks to Ken and Shane aka “The Chef” for a great event and a great meal.

Tonight’s the night!!! Steak dinner from 4-6, poker tournament starts at 6 prompt. Come on out and try your luck, all proceeds go back to support VFW Post 11404 and veterans.

Meade County, we are a few weeks away from our “open to the public” war-fighters-showdown. It promises to be a great event, with great food and a safe and inviting atmosphere to play poker. All proceeds go back to our post in support of our efforts for Veterans and our community. Please sign up below, it helps to determine how much food to purchase.

We will not be open tomorrow evening as our new parking lot is painted. We will however still have our afternoon blood drive.

We will back to normal hours on Wednesday for Bingo night!!

Post 11404 has the best members/volunteers in the land. Come on out for a hot breakfast from 8-10. If you’re not a member I would highly recommend considering it.
