🐾❤️ Meet Joker! ❤️🐾

Or as we like to call him… Mr. Ears! 😍 Just look at those adorable ears!

Joker is a sweet Boxer/Pit mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly gentle when taking treats and already knows shake and lay down. Such a smart boy! 🐶

This handsome guy definitely has that classic Boxer energy. He loves to run, go for walks, and have fun. One of his favorite things in the world? TOYS! 🎾🦴 Give Joker a toy and he’s one happy boy. He also absolutely loves belly rubs and will gladly roll over for some extra attention. ❤️

Joker has done well with kids and has been good with other dogs. As always, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to make sure everyone is a good fit.

If you’re looking for a playful best friend who will keep you smiling, entertain himself with toys, and happily soak up all the belly rubs you can give, Joker is your guy! 🐾✨

🐾 TNR Volunteer Help Needed 🐾

We are looking for a few dedicated volunteers to help support our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program by assisting with transporting cats to the Hardin County Animal Shelter and helping pick up cats after their appointments.

This program makes a huge difference in reducing the stray cat population in our community, and we would love to continue offering TNR services as often as possible. Unfortunately, without volunteer support for transportation, we may have to reduce our TNR schedule to every other week.

If you have a little extra time and would be willing to help, we would greatly appreciate it. Your support helps us continue providing this valuable service and improves the lives of countless community cats.

🐾 Meet Miss Scarlette! 🐾

This beautiful hound/lab mix came to us with her babies, and while we don’t know her full story, we are sure it was a tough one. 💔 When she arrived, she was very skinny and trying her best to care for her puppies. Even through everything, she was an amazing mama—gentle, patient, and so focused on her little ones.

Now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be loved.

Scarlette is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet, gentle personality really shines through. 🥹💕 In the play yard, she’ll happily curl right into your lap and soak up every bit of love you give her. She wants to be loved so badly, and she has the softest, most gentle soul. She also has her goofy side and enjoys her zoomies, but her favorite place is always next to her person.

She is still on the thin side and will need continued good meals and care, but she is already on her way and deserves a home that will help her fully bloom. ❤️

❤️ Please, please help us find Huxley a forever home. ❤️

Huxley is searching for a forever home, foster, or rescue, and we are hoping someone will give this boy the chance he deserves.

The shelter environment has been incredibly stressful for him, and it’s clear that kennel life is taking a toll. But during a recent sleepover, we got to see the real Huxley—and he was amazing.

He did wonderful in the car, was great outside of the shelter environment, enjoyed being around the other dogs in the home, and showed us that all he really wants to do is run, play, and have fun. He absolutely loves toys and would happily spend his day playing and exploring.

We’ve seen a side of Huxley that so many people don’t get to see behind kennel doors. Beneath the stress is a sweet, playful boy who deserves a family of his own.

Please help us find Huxley a forever home. Share his story, tag rescues, talk to friends and family—anything helps. We know the right person is out there for him. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance. ❤️🐾🏡
