Thanks to all the students who helped us kick off the new school year by visiting with our therapy dogs yesterday! Unfortunately one of the dogs was sick and not able to make it - but little Taffy Rose had lots of cuteness to go around! Thank you to all the RVCC students who came to the library and visited with our therapy dogs during this past year! Thanks also to the volunteers at Creature Comfort Pet Therapy, for bringing these wonderful animals to our campus. We are looking forward to having the dogs visit our library again in the fall!

Congratulations go out to RVCC Library staff member Donna Ignacz, who completed her first ever Boston Marathon earlier this week! Donna ran the race along with her son John (pictured), who was running in his second Boston Marathon. Donna finished the 26.2 mile race in an impressive time of 03:46:20. Way to go Donna, you made all of us at the library proud!
