More of our Indians!

In honor of our boys and the State tournament we have been drawing Native Americans. We have discussed the pride we have of being able to represent a great people and the great pride they had and have now to this day. We have discussed traditional headdress and the connotation that comes with it. We have discussed the many tribes that were located across America. We learned about their homes, clothing and culture. I want my students to know that we, as the County Line Indians, are representing a people and a culture that is dear to our heart. Of course, many of us have native blood. They had the choice of mediums! These are a few of the finished ones! I couldn't wait to share! I will share the rest this week as they finish up! We did this K-8th! I am proud to be an Indian! (Before you ask the first one is mine! I couldn't let them have all the fun!)
