Increasing confidence in a period of heavy rain and isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding Tuesday night into Wednesday. There is still some uncertainty as to where the heaviest rainfall sets up, but the highest exists across urban/poor drainage areas.

There is a slight (2/5) risk for severe thunderstorms Saturday. The greatest risk for severe weather arrives after 2pm. Threats include: damaging winds, a low risk for a tornado or two, and torrential rainfall. The threat for severe weather will continue well into the overnight.
