June 6, 1944 — D-Day 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember one of the most pivotal days in history.

On this day 81 years ago, more than 156,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, France, in the largest amphibious invasion in military history. Their bravery and sacrifice marked the turning point in World War II and helped secure the freedom we enjoy today.

We honor the courage of those who landed on those beaches—many of whom never returned—and we continue to stand in gratitude for all who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

Let us never forget the cost of liberty, and may we continue to serve those who have served us.
