Today (Tuesday , Jan 13) is the last day to file to run for clerk (2 year position) or supervisor (3 year position) for Daggett Brook Township office.

You may file today, anytime between 1 and 5 PM, at Clerk Gretchen Nelson's home office at 12629 30th Street Brainerd. Please bring photo ID and $2.00 cash filing fee.

Township election will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2025.

It's Township Day!

For residents in Daggett Brook Township, our election will be taking place between 3 and 8 PM at the town hall.

Our annual meeting will begin at 8:30 and there will be refreshments after, served by the Daggett Brook 4-H club.

If you are not a Daggett Brook resident and need to know about your township's voting hours or annual meeting, please click the link on the CWC post or contact your township's clerk.

MN Township Day is March 11th. It’s a day when all townships host annual meetings. If you live in one of the 28 townships in CWC you are encouraged to participate. Find the location and time by checking your township website or contact your township clerk.

As a reminder- the filing period for anyone who wishes to run for township office ends at 5 PM on Tuesday, January 14th.

Filing fee is $2 and you will need to set up a time to meet Clerk Gretchen Nelson to submit your filing form. You can also file at the clerk's home anytime on Tuesday January 14th between noon and 5 PM.

Positions on the ballot are for 1 supervisor (3 year term) and 1 treasurer (2 year term).

Contact Gretchen at 218-330-7058 with questions or to set up a time to meet if you'd like to file before Tuesday . On Tuesday, between noon and 5 PM, you may come without an appointment. Address is 12629 30th Street, Brainerd.

Heads up to all of our residents and those who travel the roads of Daggett Brook Township!

We know that our roads are quite rough at the moment. Our road maintenance contractor is also aware and has told us that because of the dry conditions, blading roads right now would not be in the best interest of the road or township and would likely make them even worse.

While we wait for some rain in order to be able to blade the roads, please slow down and know that our contractor will be out as soon as possible once we get some moisture to help with the blading!

Please note that our June 19th Board of Supervisors meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 20th. The time has also changed from 7 PM to 8 PM. All regular monthly business will be conducted at the June 20th meeting, which was rescheduled due to a state holiday requiring no public business take place.

Also, the annual Board of Appeals and Equalization meeting is taking place at 10 AM this morning, for those who have concerns regarding their property taxes. Anyone is welcome to attend but we ask that you contact the CWC Land Services office prior, so they can have your information and some background details before arriving.
