📢 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Large Patching Project
Construction Dates: June 17 – 18, 2026 Project Area: Andrew Street, S 8th Street, Norwood Street, Bluff Avenue, and Grove Street

The City of Brainerd will begin its annual maintenance project consisting of large pavement patches. This involves removing deteriorated pavement in areas with localized potholes to extend pavement life until larger reconstruction or resurfacing projects can be scheduled.

What to expect:
• All streets will remain open to traffic. Pavement removal on Andrew Street, Norwood Street, Bluff Avenue, and Grove Street will occur on June 17, 2026, with new pavement placed on June 18, 2026.
• All work on S 8th Street — including removal and replacement — will be completed on June 18, 2026.
• Drivers on S 8th Street should expect lane shifts and temporary no-parking signs while work is underway, including signed lane switches, cones, and other traffic control measures during contractor operations.
• All patching areas are anticipated to be complete by the afternoon of June 18, 2026.

📢 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation — North Brainerd
Construction Dates: June 8–12, 2026
Project Area: The neighborhood bounded by N 5th Street (west), N 7th Street (east), Washington Street (south), and Juniper Street (north).

The City of Brainerd will begin sanitary sewer rehabilitation work in North Brainerd on June 8, 2026. The project involves installing a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner to seal and restore the existing sewer line.
What to expect:
• All streets will remain open to traffic. Work vehicles will be stationed in the roadway, and drivers should be prepared to navigate around them in both directions.
• Substantial completion is expected by June 12, 2026, weather permitting.
