🚧 Landfill Update – Open Today 🚧

The City of Brady Landfill will be open today; however, we ask for your patience and understanding as recent rainfall has limited the number of dry and accessible areas within the landfill.

To help ensure safe operations and prevent vehicles from becoming stuck, loads will be admitted one at a time. As a result, customers may experience longer-than-normal wait times.

We appreciate your cooperation as our staff works to safely accommodate everyone while protecting the site from further damage. Thank you for your patience, and please plan accordingly if you are visiting the landfill today.

We were excited to reopen and serve our community today. Unfortunately, due to the significant rainfall we received last night, conditions at the landfill are not safe for operations, and we will be closed for the day.

✅ Landfill Reopening Notice ✅

Good news, Brady! The City of Brady Landfill is open today, and regular operating hours have resumed.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during the recent weather-related closures. We know many residents have been waiting for an opportunity to dispose of debris and other materials, and we appreciate your cooperation as we allowed the site time to dry and conditions to improve.

Because the landfill operates on unpaved surfaces, significant rainfall can create soft and unstable ground conditions that affect the safe movement of customers, equipment, and vehicles throughout the site. For that reason, landfill operations may occasionally be impacted by weather conditions, and temporary closures may be necessary to ensure the safety of both the public and staff.

With ground conditions now suitable for operations, the landfill is once again open and ready to serve the community.

Unfortunately, the landfill will be closed again today to allow additional time for the ground to dry and conditions to improve following recent rainfall.

The safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority, and current site conditions are not suitable for public access.

🚧 Landfill Closure Notice 🚧

We hope residents who had been waiting for the landfill to reopen were able to take advantage of the special opening day on Monday and at our regular hours on Tuesday. Unfortunately, due to rainfall received overnight, the City of Brady Landfill will be closed today.

Recent precipitation has once again created soft and unstable ground conditions, making it unsafe for public access and landfill operations at this time.

We understand this may be an inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor site conditions. Updates regarding reopening will be posted here as they become available.

The landfill will be open on Monday, June 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, provided conditions remain dry through the weekend.

The landfill is normally closed on Mondays - but we've been closed too much lately due to wet weather so we're opening on Monday to help out our customers!

The City of Brady is excited to announce the opening of the Brady Municipal Pool for the 2026 summer season beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

The pool will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM throughout the summer season. Please note that there will be no adult swim hour this season. The pool is closed Sundays and Mondays.

Admission to the pool is $2.00 per person, and children ages 2 and under will be admitted free of charge.

Season passes are now available for purchase at Brady City Hall:
• $60 per person for the season
• $35 for each additional family member

Private pool parties may also be booked through City Hall.

The City of Brady Animal Control is excited to partner with Tractor Supply Company for the upcoming Animal Days event on Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brady Tractor Supply location.

Community members are invited to stop by and meet several furry friends that will be available for adoption and searching for their forever homes.
