⚡ POWER OUTAGE UPDATE — NORTH SIDE OF BRADY ⚡

The City of Brady is aware of multiple sporadic power outages affecting areas on the north side of town.

Our crews are actively working to identify the cause and restore consistent service as quickly and safely as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimated time of restoration (ETR), as the outages are occurring intermittently and the situation is still being assessed.

We understand how inconvenient and frustrating unexpected power interruptions can be, and we appreciate our community’s patience and understanding while our crews work to address the issue.

We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience, Brady!

💧 THE LEAK IS FIXED!!!💧

Our storage capacity reached 100% just before 9 a.m. Friday indicating that our system is back online and functioning well.

The City of Brady would like to thank our community for your patience, cooperation, and efforts to conserve water while our crews worked to repair the leak in our raw water intake main. Your willingness to do your part truly made a difference! 💙

While water conservation efforts are no longer required, we encourage everyone to continue being mindful of how we use this important resource.

🌊 The repair may be complete, but the good habits can continue.

🔥🚫 MCCULLOCH COUNTY BURN BAN REMAINS IN EFFECT🚫🔥
McCulloch County has ordered that outdoor burning is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of McCulloch County.
The burn ban prohibits outdoor burning, with limited exceptions outlined in the county order.
The Order specifically addresses activities including:
🔥 Outdoor burning
🔥 Household trash burning
🔥 Outdoor welding and hot work
🔥 Outdoor cooking
Certain activities may be allowed only when specific requirements are met. For example:
• Outdoor welding/hot work requires notification to McCulloch County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 325-597-2290, a designated spotter, and a pressurized water fire extinguisher for each spotter.
• Household trash may only be burned in a covered metal receptacle capable of containing all flames and sparks, with someone present for the entire burn and a water supply readily available until the fire is completely burned and cool to the touch.
• Outdoor cooking must be attended at all times, have a water supply readily available, and be conducted in an enclosed cooker.
This information is based on the McCulloch County Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning adopted August 24, 2026. The Order applies to the unincorporated areas of McCulloch County and includes specific exceptions and requirements.
