Come on down to the McCulloch County Library for an exciting Back to School Dino Bash! We're hosting four fun-filled sessions to make sure everyone can join in on the prehistoric fun.

Mark your calendars for two Fridays: August 21st and August 28th, with sessions running from 11 AM to 1 PM and again from 3 PM to 5 PM.

We will have 20 dino stuffies per session (80 in total), coloring pages and bookmarks.

Dive into a delightful dinosaur-themed story and snack with the wonderful Ms. Neysa. After the story, unleash your creativity as you stuff your very own “Sparks” the Triceratops or “Rexy” the T-rex. It’s going to be a “rawring” good time that you won't want to miss!

🦋 Flutter on over to the McCulloch County Library for a whimsical Butterfly Kisses Shadowbox soiree with the fabulous Sandra Barley on Tuesday, Aug 18th at 5:15 PM!

Twenty (20) lucky artists will spread their creative wings. 🦋

🌼 Didn't make the cut? Don't fret—there's always another garden party on the horizon! Overflow turns into a waitlist, giving those on it a fly start for the next vibrant gathering. 🌼

✨ For our waitlist warriors, keep your ears perked for a call if someone decides to flutter off before the event. If you don't hear a peep, no worries—you’re first in line to soar at the next Butterfly Kisses Shadowbox adventure! ✨

New to Genealogy? Come to the beginner’s genealogy class at the McCulloch County Library on Monday August 10, at 11 a.m. A complementary lunch will be served at 12:30p.m.
The class will be taught by Lisa Mahler, a board member of the San Angelo Historical and Genealogical Society. Lisa has been teaching beginning genealogy for over a decade. You will learn how to fill out genealogy charts, and there will be instruction on how to use these websites: Familysearch, FindaGrave, and Ancestry.com.
Bring a laptop if you have one but it is not necessary for the class. Note taking material will be needed. If there is time at the end of the class, you can ask specific questions aboutthat lost relative.
