📢 Reminder: Fine Payment Options

If you have outstanding fine payments, there are several convenient ways to make your payment:

💵 Pay in person:
You can make your payment directly with the Court Clerk or a police officer during regular hours.

📬 Payment Drop Box:
A payment drop box is located next to the Court Clerk’s window, with envelopes provided for your convenience. The area is monitored by cameras, so you can safely leave your payment in the box.

📮 Pay by Mail:
You may mail a check or money order to:

💻 Pay Online:
You can also make your payment online at www.myfinepayment.com. You will need your last name and date of birth to access your account.

🏛️ City Hall Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

⚠️ Please remember: Failure to make your required monthly payment may result in a Failure to Pay warrant.

If you are unable to make your monthly payment, community service is also available Monday–Friday. You do not have to wait for the Court Clerk or an officer to be present to sign in and begin your community service. We are still offering 5+ hours of community service at double time

There are two folders next to the sign-in sheet containing a list of tasks that can be completed for community service.

We understand that sometimes things get difficult. If you are unable to make your payment or complete community service, please come speak with the Court Clerk. We encourage you to communicate with us about your situation rather than simply missing your payment.

Sometimes it’s the smallest acts of kindness that remind us what community is all about. ❤️ We wanted to share this touching story from a traveler who experienced the kindness and generosity of the people in our town. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difficult day a little brighter.

I want to share with you all how wonderfully many in your community treated me yesterday.

I hit a little curb pulling into the gas station that immediately flattened my tire. Several men pointed it out to me. In minutes, I had several gentleman laying in the ground, pulling out jacks, removing lug nuts and more. All this in extreme heat!
When it was realized that fixing the tire was not an option, they kept me company inside the station while I waited in my husband to get to me from 2 hours away. We had the best conversations about families, politics, religion, and small towns. They treated me so well. I remember one man was named Rob and the other Billy. They would take no money for their trouble, telling me, “This is Bradford, we take care of our people and today you’re our people.” And, I certainly felt that way.

After that, a man kept me company while I read my Bible as he ate his pizza, offering more than once to share with me.

June joined me last at the table, telling me her life story in a little over an hour. I fell in love with her.

I was fortunate to have a nice conversation with Terri from the gas station who was beyond helpful and kind.

All in all, I was there 3 1/2 - 4 hours and I can say that it was a very pleasant stop for me; an easy annd happy afternoon, despite my car issues.

My car was safe there until we returned with the correct spare (my husband brought the wrong tire from Kennett, MO the first time) around 8:30 pm.

A sign in a shop window there said “The Little Town with a Big Heart” and it’s true; you all certainly live up to that name!

I tried sharing this on your page and on the City of Bradford’s page, but posting was not an option.

I’d love for you to share with as many as possible because I was so impressed with your people. I want them to know that you all have something special there!

***Reminder***

The City of Bradford’s Ordinance regarding fireworks states, citizens of the City may discharge fireworks on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th until 10:00 p.m.

The ordinance also states, fireworks shall not be discharged within 300 feet of any location where fireworks are sold.

🚨Attention Bradford Residents and Surrounding Communities

We would like to kindly remind everyone that City Hall is not equipped to accept or house animals, personal belongings, or other property. Please do not leave animals, items, or personal property unattended at City Hall, as we are unable to assume responsibility for them.

Recently, we have had several situations involving animals being brought to City Hall and personal items being left for others to pick up at a later time. While we understand these situations may be well-intentioned, City Hall is not able to provide storage or safekeeping services.

If you need a safe, public location to exchange items, you are welcome to use the City Hall parking lot; however, all parties must remain with their items or animals during the exchange. Please do not leave them unattended.

If you would like an officer present during an exchange, our police department can often assist with a civil standby upon request.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep City Hall operating efficiently for everyone.

These 3 sweet little boys were recently found on Dunn Hill and are now safe, but they need loving forever homes or foster homes as soon as possible.
