Last week, America once again recoiled under the weight of this country’s ongoing criminalization of the black body when George Floyd was cruelly and unjustly killed by police in Minneapolis. Demonstrators once again took to the streets to raise the banner of Black Lives Matter to protest the system that disproportionately victimizes people of color.

As a community-focused professional, it is my responsibility and honor to care for and support ALL members of the community I serve, and to not speak up on this matter would be an injustice.

Hello, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Due to my office hours having to be canceled for the time being, I am going to make an attempt at virtual office hours using Zoom! What I would like to know is, do the normal hours (Thursday 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday 10am-1pm) work well, or are there other days/times that are more accessible for you all? Let me know!

Hi everyone! With school being canceled amid the COVID-19 situation, Ocean House’s Food Truck will be parked at the Westerly Ice Rink downtown starting tomorrow 3/20 from 11:30am-1:30pm and will be distributing free meals to children who need it. They will be located there every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:30-1:30 distributing food until April 3rd. Please contact Ocean House with any questions!
