Ballard Elementary School The main lobby of the school has sound panels shaped in silhouettes of important landmarks that represent different time zones.

At Ballard Elementary we utilize Growth Mindset and Mindfulness to help increase our students engagement in learning, help students to reach their full potential, and continue to strive for and improve student academic growth. You will see that the entrances to our four main hallways have architectural replicas of the columns of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece, the Coliseum in Rome, Italy, the Pa

zzi Chapel in Florence, Italy, and the Itsukushima Shrine in Japan. The time zones are indicated by four clocks showing the time in New York, London, Moscow, and Tokyo. In the Media Center, there are many panels which depict several landmarks including a New York skyline, and the Eiffel Tower. The elevator shaft is designed to replicate Big Ben in London and the walkway from the loft is the Golden Gate Bridge. The story house is designed as a half-timber house much like one you would see in Germany or Switzerland. Behind the Media Center are panels representing the Jefferson, Washington, and Lincoln Memorials in Washington, D.C. Can you believe it’s the last day of school!? 😢

Our last week was filled with so much fun and celebration! Starting off with our 5th graders going on their senior field trip to Epcot! Then our 5th graders walked out in style to their graduation with a whole school clap out! Finally we ended our amazing week with a school wide talent show! We have so many talented amazing kiddos! 🤩

This year has been so full of growth, friendship, laughter, and amazing vibes! We can’t wait to see what every year after has in store! See you all back at school on August 10, 2026! 🤗

On Friday, our top fundraiser earners got to experience being principal for the day! They got walkies, explored the campus, won some prizes, and even got to assist in our Pre-K graduation and yearbook signing! 👩🏻‍🏫👨🏽‍🏫💼

A Ballard tradition we look forward to every year! ✨🫟

Every year, our 5th graders play a friendly (👀) game of color dodgeball against the teachers and staff! Every grade level got to watch and cheer on their favorite side! Looking at our teachers and staff…. the students definitely won this year! 🏆

Thanks to our parishioners, Christ Episcopal Church delivered 111 pairs of shoes and socks for the students of Ballard Elementary.
