🎄 This December, we’re bringing together Mahjong, holiday cheer, and community impact. 🀄

The Junior League of Manatee County is excited to host the inaugural Mistletoe Mahjong at IMG Academy Golf Club on December 6th.

Whether you play for fun or play to win, you’ll enjoy an afternoon of Mahjong, festive surprises, and the opportunity to support meaningful work in our community.

Our Heart & Soles 5K Planning Team recently visited Tom Bennett Park, the future home of our inaugural Heart & Soles 5K Charity Fundraiser benefiting the Junior League of Manatee County.

From reviewing the course layout to brainstorming race-day experiences, we’re hard at work creating a fun, family-friendly event that will bring our community together while supporting JLMC’s mission.

🍎 Introducing Feed the Need with JLMC 🍎

The Junior League of Manatee County is proud to launch a new community impact initiative focused on helping address food insecurity right here in Manatee County.

Beginning this fall, JLMC members will host monthly food drives supporting local food pantries serving families in need. Each month, we’ll partner with a different organization to help stock shelves, raise awareness, and bring our community together for a common cause.

Food insecurity affects thousands of our neighbors, but together, we can make a difference—one donation, one pantry, and one family at a time.

Created by The Junior League, International Find the Good Day is dedicated to celebrating the good we create in our communities. It’s more than a day—it’s a movement rooted in kindness, service, and positive change.

This year, the Junior League of Manatee County is inviting our members to join us in Spreading The Good on September 17.

Your act of kindness can be as simple or as impactful as you’d like:
☕ Organize coffee for school staff
🚒 Deliver a meal to a local fire station
👕 Donate clothing to a local nonprofit
💐 Surprise someone with flowers
💌 Write a heartfelt note of encouragement
