Missed this one. As always it was a great morning.
🇺🇸 Breakfast with the Brave! 🇺🇸 What a beautiful morning as we gathered once again for our June Heroes Breakfast!
The room was filled with both familiar faces and new veterans, creating an atmosphere with the kind of camaraderie that makes these mornings so meaningful.
There is something truly special about watching veterans come together — sharing stories, forming new friendships, and enjoying the company of those who simply understand.
One of the highlights of the morning was honoring our Veteran of the Month, Nelson Webster, a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran who served our country for 20 years, including deployments to both Vietnam and Korea.
Nelson began his military career as a jet fighter mechanic before becoming Head of Maintenance Supply, all while traveling the world alongside his high school sweetheart, Patty.
What made Nelson's recognition especially memorable was having his entire family there to celebrate him. His wife, Patty, his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren joined us as we honored a man who has devoted his life to service, family, and country.
Seeing generations gathered around Nelson, celebrating the legacy he has built, reminded us what Heroes Breakfast is truly all about.
We were also honored to welcome our special guest speaker, Todd Hughes, President of the Lutz Live to Tell Foundation and a fellow U.S. Army Veteran.
Todd shared the inspiring mission behind the foundation and the Lutz Buddy Up Program, which connects and supports veterans and first responders through fellowship, wellness, and community.
His message was a powerful reminder that no hero should ever feel alone.
From the warm breakfast and heartfelt stories to honoring Nelson and celebrating alongside his family, June's Heroes Breakfast was extra special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special.
We are honored to serve those who have served us, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next month as we continue celebrating the amazing heroes in our community! 🇺🇸
