We cover a 20 state region with highly-experienced personnel, the largest insurance service fleet of wildfire engines in the nation, and an unmatched inventory of wildfire suppression and structure protection equipment and materials. Our mix of professional management and field operation expertise allows us to perform projects and assignments ranging from design and implementation of comprehensive wildfire programs to wildfire suppression and structure protection services.

Alexa began her career with WDS in 2019 as an Information and Intelligence Technician. She then served as a Data Capture Analyst and Information and Intelligence Shift Lead before transitioning to the role of Shift Lead of Response Assurance. Alexa is excited to develop new workflows for the department following its merger with Operations Support and is committed to continually supporting the field in the upcoming fire season.

Rick is a passionate advocate for Firefighter Health and Safety, including First Responder Behavioral Health. He has been a dedicated Peer Support Team Member and Leader at CAL FIRE and has supported the WDS team during critical incidents. Rick is developing a proactive Peer Support Program for WDS Field Personnel, as well as all WDS and partner staff. We are excited about the positive changes and initiatives Rick will bring to our team.
