The Facilities Division is hard at work on multiple projects. The Facilities Team painted the Public Works headquarters conference room. Painted, cleaned, and performed repairs to the Boynton Beach Memorial Park office building interior and exterior, and painted the perimeter walls at the cemetery. They completed electrical upgrades at the Oceanfront concession building.

These represent a sample of the many projects the team has completed to date. They remain enthusiastic about the projects they are currently working on and those planned for the future.

During the September 8 City Commission meeting, the City of Boynton Beach presented a proclamation recognizing September as Hunger Action Month.

Since 1981, Feeding South Florida has worked to end hunger by providing individuals and families in need with access to nutritious food while supporting programs that promote economic growth and overall well-being.

Hunger does not discriminate by race, religion or age, and approximately one million individuals across South Florida face hunger.

The proclamation was accepted by Allyson Vaulx of Feeding South Florida. The City encourages the community to join in supporting efforts toward a hunger-free South Florida.

King tide season is underway in South Florida.

The South Florida Water Management District is providing weekly Tidal Outlooks throughout the 2026 season to help residents and stakeholders stay informed about conditions that may cause tides to rise above predicted levels.

Upcoming periods of potentially elevated high tides along Florida’s East Coast, including Boynton Beach, include:

• September 8–15
• September 24–October 15
• October 22–November 12
• November 22–29
• December 22–27

The annual maximum predicted peak is expected around October 27.

High tides, rainfall and storm surge can contribute to localized flooding. Residents, particularly those in low-lying and coastal areas, are encouraged to remain aware of conditions and use caution around flooded areas.
